- Rising stars in the vibrant genres of Maskandi, Mbaqanga, Isicathamiya, Afropop, and traditional music.
- Prepare a Stellar Performance: The heart of the audition process is your performance. Prepare a captivating one-minute showcase that best represents your musical style and vocal prowess. Choose a song that highlights your strengths and allows you to connect with the judges and audience
- Bring Valid ID: Make sure you have a valid form of identification readily available, such as an ID card, passport, or driver’s license. This will be required during the registration process.
- Maintain Independence: It’s important to note that #uShuniWomhlaba is open to independent artists who are not currently signed by any recording companies.

- Mpumalanga Audition Location: Emalahleni Civic Theatre on Smuts Avenue in the CBD of Emalahleni
- KwaZulu-Natal Audition Date: July 13th and 14th, 2024.
- KwaZulu-Natal Audition Location: Playhouse Company on Anton Lembede Street in Durban Central
- Auditions Timing: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
