Boys age 8-12 needed for Afrikaans Theatre show, Joburg

An agency is looking for two boys to play the role of Karel in the up and coming Afrikaans THEATRE Show in June 2017 in Johannesburg.

Due to law in South Africa they have to cast two child actors for the role that we can alternate between the two for each performance.

Age: 8-12 year old. Must look 8 years
Gender: Male
Race: White, Mixed race
Language: Must be fluent in Afrikaans

Personal traits
Must be outgoing, fun, be able to work in the theatre environment, love theatre, can work in groups. This character has a fair share of dialogue and play an integral part in the production. He has to be able to memorize and maintain the dialogue and direction. The actor/s have to understand the complexities and emotions of theatre and he must be able to emotionally distance himself from the theatre production.

Guardians
The child actor/s should have a legal guardian that are willing to make sure that the actor is on time for rehearsals and production.
