They are looking for:

- 2 Lead actors (male and female)

Lead Actress (Daughter):
The Daughter: (White female) 20 - 30 years old
Language/Accent: English, preferably an American or (local) South African able to convincingly imitate an American accent.
Physical Attributes: Above average good looks, athletic build and fit
Character role: Playing the role of an adolescent teenager unhappy with her life withmaternal instict toward her family. Must be good at portaying various emotions e.g. fear etc.

Lead actor (Father)
The father: (White male) 40-55 years old
Language/Accent: English, preferably an American or (local) South African able to convincingly imitate an American accent.
Physical Attributes: Above average good looks, athletic or muscular build.
Character Role: A father of two, hardworking businessman who is struggling with guilt following a family tragedy.

Lead Antagonist:
Lead Villian: (White Female) 21-40 years old
Language/Accent: English, preferably an American or (local) South African able to convincingly imitate an American accent.
Physical Attributes: Above average good looks, athletic build and fit.
Character Role: Reserved and shy at a glance, highly intelligent and crafty. Must have a solid understanding of portraying two distinct personalities.

Lead Supporting Actress (Mother)
The mother: (White female) 35 - 45 years old
Language/Accent: English, preferably an American or (local) South African able to convincingly imitate an American accent.
Physical Attributes: Above average good looks, athletic build and fit.
Character Role: A mother of two, must have a solid understanding of portraying a character with partial paralysis.

Lead Supporting Actor (Son):
The son: (White Male) 8 - 14 years old
Language/Accent: English, preferably an American or (local) South African able to convincingly imitate an American accent.
Physical Attributes: A young, handsome and charming young man, 1.1 - 1.6m tall and able to act.
Character Role: Smart and resourceful, possibly slightly hyperactive at times, can also be sullen.

Extras:
Male and female Extras: 30 needed (all ethnic groups welcome)
Language/Accent: English, preferably an American or (local) South African able to convincingly imitate an American accent.
Character Roles: A number of scenes in the film will require background extras for a 1 - 2 day basis during certain filming days. Some of these roles will have narrative parts.

House:
The production team is looking for the perfect house as their primary location for the film. Interior and exterior shorts for a period of 14 days in January 2018. The house needs to be double story house with a staircase. A large front garden is preferable with a driveway.

Actor requirements: Must be passionate about being an actor and making films. Prepared to work long hours and to push themselves to the limit as this character role will be physically challenging. Some stunt work may be required.

When will the audition take place:The actual audition will take place on the 18th September in Johannesburg from 10:00am - 1:00pm. You will be emailed a map if your online audition is successful.
