The highly-anticipatedfifth season of the SAFTA award-winning show, The Taste Master returns to the small screen on Tuesday, 23 April at 19:00 on SABC 2. The new season promises to showcase more inspiring baking and high drama as twelve contestants are set to put their baking skills to the ultimate test.

The show aims to uncover a treasure trove of newtalent over 13 weeks and reward the ultimate baker with the title of The Taste Master SA 2024 as well as a R150 000 cash prize, over R100 000 in kitchen appliances and an all expenses paid overseas culinary adventure.

This season award-winning author and celebrity chef, Zola Nene returns to the judging panel and will be joined again by artisanal baker and entrepreneur, Fritz Schoon, who made his judging debut in Season 2.

We are looking for 12 contestants, who are passionate bakers, to enter the open auditions to take part in The Taste Master SA Season 5.
