Synopsis: Each episode of Come Dine With Me South Africa features four amateur chefs who take turns hosting dinner parties in their homes over four nights. Contestants are judged on their hosting skills, the quality of their food, and the overall dining experience they provide. At the end of the week, the best host is awarded the coveted prize. This format not only tests culinary talent but also the ability to entertain and interact with guests under pressure.

Requirements:

- Any Race
- Age: +18 years old
- Individuals who are not only skilled in the kitchen but also have vibrant personalities, confidence, and a love for entertaining. Applicants must be residents of the specified metropolitan areas.

Short Listing: The producers will shortlist applicants based on their applications. Shortlisted candidates may undergo telephone interviews and further digital video auditions at their homes.
Participant Selection: Successful applicants will host a dinner party for the other three contestants and attend the other contestants’ dinner parties over one week between September and December 2024. Participants will be notified at least one week before their dining week begins.

- Payment: Winners from each dining week will receive a R10,000 cash prize. Participants must complete a participant package, including various release and confidentiality forms. Background checks, including criminal history investigations, may also be conducted.
