Hlengiwe Sindane is a Social Entrepreneur, business woman, Media personality and Philanthropist. She possesses a strong connection with Radio and TV as information, education and entertainment platforms.  She owns a media company called Hedge Media.

The evolution of Hedge Media is intertwined with the evolution of its founder and Managing Director, Ms. Hlengiwe Sindane. Trained in 2 of South Africa’s most well-respected Media houses, Boston and NEMISA, and having interned under well established and talented media practitioners such as Masechaba Ndlovu she went on to apply her skills in the radio arena from community (K.Radio Fm) to commercial stations (TMG’s RISE Fm) and SABC's Ligwalagwala FM amongst other stations. 
Beyond the radio space, Ms. Sindane has worked with diverse entities ranging from Cappello  to the University of Mpumalanga.  She Co-hosted the inaugural Beauty Music Fashion Awards as well as Soweto TV’s Empumalanga magazine show.  
Her work ethic and professional commitment has seen her being selected recently to host the International Gaming Regulators Africa Forum (GRAF) over a 4-day duration. This opportunity placed Hedge Media on a  National and International footing.


Currently Miss Sindane is a member of the 1873 Network. She is part of the Continental Sunrise Breakfast show every weekday 6-9am CAT, Presenter and Producer of Shifting the paradigm a weekday show from 12-3pm CAT, panelist on the future I want,  a weekly TV programme from 18h00-19h30 focusing on building communities of shared interest as well as an events coordinator for the network
