Hi I'm Siyamthanda Mchiza, a dynamic, zealous, well-mannered and well-disciplined, square peg in a round hole type of person who aspires to learn from the world so that I may give back to it. I have a deeply rooted interest in the economics, health, politics, gastronomy, beauty and travel and this coupled with my skills and knowledge of writing and relaying information in a relatable fashion, will allow me not only to deliver content that is relevant within the realms of your mediums, but also work in conjunction with public interest. My passion for people and willingness to learn are evident in all I do. I am a fast learner and strive for excellence. I have no previous acting or singing experience but my willingness to learn always gets me through.I am open to almost anything that will teach me something about myself and people in general.
I previously worked as an English news reader at Unitra Community Radio in Umtata, while at UCR I managed to co-host their breakfast called (Morning Move breakfast show) while being the producer of the said show and the producer of their news and current affairs show. I then got promoted from being an intern right to being an anchor within a space of 3 months then was given a show to produce and co-host within 5 months because of the dedication and zeal I show through my work. I work best under pressure in fast paced environments. I’m a go- getter who has a “never say die attitude”.

I worked at UCR for about 3 years. As an English news reader I was responsible for producing my own news bulletin, sourcing and finding my own stories, editing them, forming the bulletin and delivering them on air. As a producer for the breakfast show and current affairs show I was responsible for pitching stories during our diary meeting, giving angles, setting up interviews with the relevant people we’d be talking to that day on the show. Creating scripts and calling our interviewee’s and placing them through on air. As a result, I learnt how to deal with stakeholders of any firm while maintaining a relationship with them. I also developed the skill of being able to take constructive criticism thus I believe I would be the right fit for most jobs..

I am willing to learn and be shown the ropes of being a good story teller within any field of acting.
