My name is Douglas Swinerd. I am South African born of British Desent. I have an Advanced Diploma in professional acting for camera. I studied at City Varsity Cape Town for 3 years. I like to rap and film my own music videos. I have done loads of student films and partisipated in another short film for fun. I have performed in a play called "Raw Meat" at the Grayhams Town festival. In grade 8 I took part in a musical out side of school "flag of freedom" and in matric i got the role of Danny Zuko in Grease (performed at curro private school). I also performed as the father in Metamorphisis (on stage) and "yugo Zanista" both performed at UCT. I can also do various accents such as general American, general British, cockney (british), Southern American, South African Afrikaaner accent, African black accent, Kombuis taal (english), American (Queens or Detroit). Mandela accent.
My first language is English and my second language is Afrikaans (I can speak basic Afrikaans but I understand it fluently).
I also have some experience in voice over work.
I also play soccer from time to time. I have recently been discoverd by a agency called ACE talent management
